I have that L & H set too - plus the fairly recent region A Blu-ray set of a few of their films, which have been cleaned up beautifully. Well worth tracking down. I also have the 'Lost Films of Laurel & Hardy' DVDs from some years ago, which cover their silent films, both together and separate.
I am a big fan, and have the L & H collection boxset of dvd’s. I love Chaplin as well, along with Keaton. Laurel & Hardy will always be my favourite of the black & white pioneers.
