I don`t doubt it but I`d avoid the cut price version from the 99 pence store.

yep, we'd went away and forgot our corkscrew - so, bought a cheap one of this type -


and the levers were strong as foil and buckled when I tried to use it..

Can't think of anything worth opening with a fray bentos label on it, last one was corned beef, the dogs got it, much poorer quality now.

I used to love Fray Bentos pies (the pastry is lovely) but at some point they got too oily and too thin on the proper filling.

The steak and kidney puddings were half decent at one time as well, now filled with UFO's (Unidentifiable Freaky Objects).

Have had a Brabantia for 20 years, it works as well today as the day I bought it.

My Brabantia can opener finally wore out after over 40 years years of use. I'm not complaining! Interestingly, the Poundland can opener looks like a clone of the Brabantia, works well too.
