Very thoroughly different design IMHO.
The 107s have an internal dowel in which the forces of the two woofers work against each other negating cabinet vibrations. I just tried looking for an internal cutaway shot, which explains it better. Instead of bracing the baffle to the rear panel, some KEFs have a dowel between the back of the drive unit and the back panel.

I think James promotes this kind of idea in his designs? Ie holding the speaker by its magnet as well, something like that anyway.
