My favourite is the Chinese title for the release of The Sixth Sense in their country.

Stieg Larsson wrote Män som hatar kvinnor, which translates to The Men who Hated Women. The French got close with Les Hommes qui n'aimaient pas les femmes , but in English ?

That's because of Truffaut's classic and delicious film, L'homme qui aimait les femmes.

Not a title, but in Germany 'Snake Plisken' was 'Die klappeshlange Plisken' (my German spelling might be wrong).
