EWA Interconnect by Colin Wonfor

The new IC-25 interconnect from EWA (Elsdon & Wonfor Audio) is now in stock at ABCaudio.

A complex and interesting design which features a revised conductor and lightweight, low mass RCA plugs, plus unique insulation material only used by EWA and a silver braided screen. IC-25 is carefully constructed utilising only the finest materials.

The new interconnect benefits from unique insulation and shielding found only in EWA products. It is designed to reject noise (electrical and radio frequency), and to suppress such noise already present in the signal; thus EWA cables are actually 'noise cancelling' to a degree. They also benefit from Colin Wonfor's previous research into suppressing non linear phase shift in cables.

In all, EWA IC-25 is quite unique among audio cables, nothing else available today is like it. What does it sound like?

Nothing at all. We believe it is the closest thing to a direct connection between your devices

We favour the low mass phono RCA plugs pictured, but IC-25 is also available with beautifully engineered silver plated CHK plugs.

Available as XLR balanced, and XLR (source) > RCA single ended too.

As standard - low mass PCA plugs based on beryllium copper with high quality good plating and a hollow centre pin. Further (fancy fancy shiny) termination options to follow later this summer! But we don't expect them to sound better than these.
