Labour, to be worth electing, needs to be offering something different at the other end of the political spectrum, not simply a variation on Liberals and Tories.
Otherwise you just swap rosettes - no point whatsoever.

There is no difference between the Blair 'third way' and so called One Nation Conservatism.

If the public reject a socialist vision, you don't abandon it, you try harder!

What does 'try harder' mean ? Labour wasn't really trying this time ?
No Party can win in a FPTP system without winning more of the middle ground than the other Party.
Blair won 3 consecutive elections. Are you saying there is no difference between Blair and BJ ?

The political centre around the world has been in decline for many years - it has certainly collapsed in the UK.
It collapsed because it offers nothing.

Well left leaning supporters/parties will have to rebuild that political centre. Without it fear and hate will result in divide and conquer right leaning Governments around the world.

Johnson will play the long game with Scotland.

He will try to bring prosperity and stability to all of the UK in order to diffuse the clamour for independence by the time of the next GE. I will watch with interest.

I can’t see Boris offering any form of indyref2 for Scotland. What exactly will Sturgeon do if he just keeps flatly refusing? She has no leverage, surely?

Are you trying to tell me that they invited say a national anti-apartheid march in Newcastle? I helped to organise the national demonstration in Manchester shortly before the collapse of the white regime. That boring b*stard Norman Willis droned on for 40 minutes until everyone had left.
