I was told by one of the organisers that 100 cards were given out to random punters over the course of the weekend. 3 out of 100 cards for a one-man company in a small room off the beaten track is not bad I think.

The winner was the HiFi dealer Acoustica. They had the Naim Statement turntable, Naim amps with B&W speakers.

Agreed… however I think a good spot, comfy sofas plus careful choice of crowd-pleasing material is what did it.
It was all too loud and too top-ended for me when I listened to it.

I was given a card and absolutely no attempt was made to influence me.
Edit...Acoustica sounded pretty good but didn't get my card.
About a third of the rooms were playing too loud for any degree of realism. As I went round a few times I'd go in and listen if the sound level changed, but a few were relentlessly loud.
