I watched half of it last night before going to bed, which is saying something since I'm burnt out on most of this genre.

the film just kept getting worse and worse. the overall effect was something aimed at adolescent boys. really disappointed.

what would have been a lot more interesting as a film would have seen the main character make his own slow way up north and the invariable little adventures along the way. would even have been enough for a series.
