New Gold Dream is a decent album, Simple Minds last good one IMO. Amazing bass playing, just so solid.

Got me back into playing with a pick that did, and for someone who learned to play in the late eighties, that's sacrilege.

I bought the early SM albums last year and found them bitty, but with some gems. Personally I never found much if anything to like about DD apart from (again) John Taylor's basslines on the earlier stuff.

Never really got the joke about how they were Wire with better hairdos.

Much difference between the two copies AudioAl ?

I remember buying my original copy when it was released late summer 1982, it was a lovely sunny day and it sounded glorious back then, I love this album and my copy is still in great condition. Certainly an album to be listened to loudly on vinyl !
