The plunge has now been taken. MPB have been very easy to deal with, and the whole process of trading in my EF 400m f/5.6 was very slick.

The EF 500m f/4 IS II arrived this morning. It is indeed a monster and comes in its own posh suitcase.

Now I have the fun of working out how to get the best out of it (plenty of time before a birding trip to S America in January).

I ordered from MPB for the first time the other week - the whole process was totally painless.
I bought a lens for a very fair price that was advertised as in nearly new condition and it certainly is. Arrived promptly and very well packed.
