Amazon basics banana plugs

As I often say, I’ve got musical instruments in my hi-fi/music room (piano, drums, guitar and bass) and they are my references : the old Quads are far from being ridiculous. In fact other speakers in general are awfully coloured.
All that music from cheap bananas and spaghetti.

I have a 6000 ose too..and a special edition one? Both in loft...my ose transformer hummed.. unbearable. I just got a schiit sys passive pre...love it but do you find with the passive it's a lot more in your face?
Ah, the caretaker!
How the devil are you?
Well actually no I don’t find it’s more in my face.
That will be issues with the associated equipment.
If anything it’s more relaxed as there is no pre colouring the sound.

I still use ESL57 speakers for acoustic music.
I’ve got bigger speakers with 95 dB sensitivity and 15 inch woofers (not ported) for the rest of my music (not hi-fi then).
15 inch’s you lucky so and so.
I have to put up with the standard 6 inch’s.
If only I had a bigger room and a more reasonable wife.

I'm fine, thankyou for asking..any news on the ukulele front? Think I'm a fan of passive pre amps..its taking longer to become accustomed to the sound... theres so much sound! Wow!

Do those Amazon banana plugs really have metal bodies?

Bit silly IMO. Makes it much easier to have an incident and short out your amp.

Back to plugs, I choose them to be a tight fit in the speaker sockets.
Most of those I’ve bought fit perfectly.

Oh, I am keeping off the cables used with them...

Look at the YouTube micro vid in the feedback on amazon, the plugs spin within the expanding outer, who wants a floating connection.....
Z plugs all the way for me...
