We are pleased to represent Colin Wonfor and his current product range. Our web-shop is focused on two areas, cables from the EWA cable system, and EWA amplifiers based on SECA technology.
Colin's design career has been a long one. In audio, he is behind companies such as Magnum amplifiers, Inca Tech and Inca Designs, and TOCA SECA where he built the largest ever solid state Single Ended Class A amplifiers @300W. He also was the technical director and ideas man behind Tellurium Q, where he designed award winning cables and amplifiers.
Aside from audio, Colin is a chemist and a power supply expert. He consulted at NASA on the international space station, notably on the solar array and power conversion, as well as building the electrically quietest switching power supply to date.
He has built power intelligent power supplies for IBM, for X-ray machines and other medical scanners, a three phase amplifier to stress test commercial airplane fuselage, and many 'sci fi' type projects at the MOD...

Colin's enduring fascination is with audio. Looking at his career built on power supply and signal transmission he is well qualified to advance hifi audio. An amplifier is really a very fast, tracking power supply, and data and power transmission go hand in hand with Colins unique expertise.
You will find that EWA amplifiers are unique in their clarity, speed and precision, with absolutely no phase distortion leading to world class bass and stereo imaging - yet with delicate qualities and warmth across all frequencies - thanks in part to SECA driver stages.
EWA cable system is a development of ideas garnered from Colin's previous work on audio cables - getting much closer to his design goals. All EWA cables reject RFI and do not generate any. They cause next to no signal loss, and are almost completely without phase shift across a frankly enormous bandwidth, and do not ring at all. They have what must be industry leading levels of shieling and isolation.
EWA cables are manufactured from the ground up of custom specified materials. This is not a cable available from a drum somewhere, we have to make a drum! Our next reel of LS-25 is likely to cost £10k to manufacture, that's before we factor in certain raw ingredients.
All EWA product are hand assembled. There may be a short wait for your product but only long enough for it to receive the attention it requires and to be built correctly. Many of Colin's Magnum and Claymore amplifiers are still going and are older than me - and so are EWA products engineered to last. Outlast us both, probably.
