Ssssssh.

Maybe "The best ever punk albumn in the world, ever - II" which has Blondie, The Undertones - - but not much punk, strangely.

During my teen years in the late 70s i had the misfortune to hear all of Queen's great albums. Garbage to my ears, mainly due to Mr Brian Bloody May's awful guitar playing.

But hey i'm spinning Kiss' first album right now.

Ho-ho! You've a bloody cheek, Paul...

:)

Typed whilst listening to the "Dark and Long" EP, oddly enough.

(as any fish who has dropped in can tell you - I also listen to some very questionable stuff)

I can't limit myself to ten albums everyone should own, so I'll omit the obvious (yer Zeppelins, Band, Allmanns, Kinks, etc.), the maybe not-so-obvious but still well known (yer Prefab Sprouts, Joe Jacksons, Talk Talk, etc.) and limit my list to "10 albums not many people necessarily know about but everyone should own anyway".

Louis Jordan - No Moe! (Greatest Hits)
Los Lobos - How Will The Wolf Survive?
Cordelia's Dad - Comet
The Refreshments - The Bottle and Fresh Horses
Paul Pena - New Train
Derek Trucks Band - Joyful Noise

Black Crowes - Southern Harmony and Musical Companion
Ronnie Earl and the Broadcasters - The Color of Love

The Smiths - The Queen Is Dead
Kraftwerk - Trans Europe Express
The Jesus and Mary Chain - Psychocandy

Calexico - Feast of Wire
The Shins - Oh, Inverted World
