Binge watched White House Farm on Netflix over the past couple of evenings. Well worth a watch with some great performances and all based on a true story

RA is nice and whacky and Alan Tudyk in the lead role is a total Nut Job. We’re really enjoying it and it’s good to know that there’s another series. It was a pleasant surprise to see Tudyk in Doom Patrol, which is also worth a binge.

Superman and Lois started of quite well with a novel twist on the original theme, but now it’s starting to get icky-corny-apple-pie and they’re going a but OTT with the CG punch ups.

The Wire did improve with repeated viewings I’d agree, very clever that each series was from a different perspective of life in Baltimore. Sopranos to me let you get closer to the main characters ... both excellent

A weakness in the Sopranos was that it rarely gave a glimpse of what the impact of organised meant. There was the odd bit but then it was back to Tony. The least sympathetic character was Carmella to my eyes.

I think I’ve watched it at least 3 times but not revisited in ages.
Lots of shows start out well then fade, some are fine all through several series but not many make you want to watch the whole lot again.

There are loads of movies I rewatch regularly but only a handful of series that I’ve got to a third viewing with.

Personally I prefer, just, The Wire to The Sopranos, but the last series of The Wire was a bit naff.
The last series of the Sopranos was pretty poor. The last season of the Wire suffered only by comparison; it was actually rather good & pretty prescient.

it might have been too long at 21 episodes for whatever reason, some of those episodes were off the scale tho, some merely padding

Drugs, extortion, prostitution, porn, money laundering, gambling, murder, credit card & mobile phone fraud, violent abusive relationships, protection money, corruption & human trafficking .... what did David Chase miss out?
