No problems at all with spittiness with my Sintra 1s..Having high quality source and amplification seems to keep it in check. Naim CDi, 62/hicap.NAP160BD. original Royd stands and pulled 30cm out from the wall. Not ideal but seems to work in my room.

It really doesn't matter what people think as long as you enjoy it - and that's all that matters. The pieces you mention may not be some of the best Naim produced but that doesn't mean to say they can't be enjoyed. You are living proof, as well as loads of other people who enjoyed them. I hope...

I bought one super cheap for £399 from audio visual online. I use it for the TV and Blu ray player, sometimes for Radio 3 from the BBC Sounds app through USB. I think it's superb. Neutral, balanced and musical. Biggest bargain I've grabbed when purchasing new.
