My experience in going from a SB Touch to SB Touch->Rega DAC was huge and well worth the purchase. The difference was immediate and I wouldn't be able to go back to listening to the SB Touch without the Rega DAC. SB Touch -> Rega DAC -> LFD LE Mk IV Sig -> Spendor S5es

I suppose an enclosure would exacerbate resonance. I think just getting an acrylic cover makes the most sense.

I used Naim equipment for 17 years. Switched to LFD and haven't looked back. There's no doubt that Naim provides a lot of audiophile pleasure, but I finally found the audio nirvana I've been looking for. Only you can figure out what works for you.
