Speaker Wire Length

I have a LFD LE mk III integrated amp and Spendor S5es speakers. Currently I'm using NACA5 wires that are about 12ft in length. I'm planning on changing to the LFD Spiroflex which is available in 3m or 5m. Is there any reason to pick one over the other besides actually needing the extra length?

In short, no.

However, a 3 metre speaker cable length suggests that the equipment is going between the speakers and, in general, it would sound better if nothing was positioned between the speakers.
