like all Naim equipment, they recommend it's serviced every decade or so - not surprising as it's left on 24/7 - keeps it tip top in my mind. and cheaper than replacing every x years.

amazing amp, love mine - will last forever as long as it's serviced every 10 years or so

i really like Les & Pete - bought my 1st "decent" cart from them, a Sumiko PB No. 2, followed by BPS etc. and every visit felt like an adventure - never bought loads but felt like it was an alternative audio universe.........

just to update all who joined this thread, i purchased a pair of Sony MDR Z7's - having read loads of mixed reviews i purchased them from John Lewis' after they told me i could take them back within 90 days if i wasn't happy / didn't like the sound - ran them in for a bit and can now report that...

my harbeths are superb at low volumes
