That is correct. There was s similar discussion here late last year. A 1.2 Corsa is one of the most expensive cars to insure for under 21s. In our experience, more expensive than larger, better built, better looking and more comfortable cars.

Exactly our experience. Also worth checking insurance costs for different cars before making a rash purchase. As an example, we found a 1.2 Corsa almost the same annual cost as an Audi TT. Went for an estate in the end. Half the cost of insuring a Corsa using comparison sites.

Are the headlights the same as the V70? I have zero problems with the headlamps in my estate, if they're kept clean Rural roads and A roads. They're better than any of my other cars.

That was my first thought too. Famously strong and reliable engines. 110k really is nothing. My daily driver has more and still feels like new. Must have been a belt, which suggests inadequate servicing. But... £1000? No risk, surely?
