How many Exposure users out there?

Still happy with my full MCX stack. No intentions to let it go anytime soon.

    Rugs

Got a new old rug yesterday. I think it looked great and the price was cheap so decided to go for it even though I don't have a place for it right now. I just love the deep rust red color of it. Usually these are much brighter red color I guess. I believe it is at least 20-40 years old but in...

Harbeth XD - What's The Difference

Of course, I work for Harbeth LOL. And yes, I have owned 4 pairs and seen many many others and never heard of or seen anything like that. Discussion is always good. However it would be nice to have some kind of evidence of those shortcomings. Also, why not contact the dealer who sold the...

Harbeth XD - What's The Difference

Why do you complain here? Why not get in touch with the dealer?

Harbeth XD - What's The Difference

At least these manufacturing jobs are still kept in the UK. Not too many brands can do that anymore. I agree Harbeth is getting a bit too expensive considering the prices a few years back but that's the way it goes nowadays. I suspect the company will be just fine as there's so much demand all...

Living Voice Auditorium, DeVore, Audio Note AN-E

I understand and I have also realized the benefits of high efficiency. That's why I also like JBL and Klipsch and might consider them myself at some point. Big JBLs are excellent with dynamics and more complex music and offer lifelike performances if everything is right. They need a lot of space...

Living Voice Auditorium, DeVore, Audio Note AN-E

Why did you get rid off the Harbeths? If you have the space needed and suitable amp capable of driving the Harbeths they really are a good solution for punk, rock, metal, jazz, electronica or whatever. I've owned C7ES3, 40.1, SHL5 and currently have 30.1s with a Rel sub. 30.1 surprised me with...

B&W vs Harbeth or any others?

I had 7ES3 like 8-9 years ago and not sure if the current model is that much different and I don't mean the XD. I think I haven't heard the Anniversary either but I guess you are not going for that anyway. There might be some changes in around 10 years but they still call it 7ES3 so not sure...

    System Pics 2020

That is a lovely room Theo. I would really love to hear those Jamo speakers one day with Exposure amps.

Harbeth XD - What's The Difference

It is not horrible and slow at all if the space and front end are good enough. Most of the times demonstrations for these big speakers are just really poor on big hifi fairs and sometimes even dealer demos.

Harbeth XD - What's The Difference

Yes they are basically the same as current Anniversary line except P3. For me C7 is significantly different from M30.1/30.2. I've had almost all the Harbeths in my house and for me the M-series is different from the rest. I now happily listen to M30.1. The setup is not 100% the same as it was...

Up to £5000-ish Turntable discussion (not argument)

Yes it is and it's kind of sad it is not very well known. It does the Linn thing better than Linn IMO and is much cheaper than top of the line Linn decks. A very good option if one likes Rega and Linn decks. I've previously owned Rega P9, Well Tempered Amadeus and Simon Yorke S9. Also tried...

    Exposure amps but what cables?

I've used NVA LS5 speaker cable for years and it suits various Exposure amps very well. Better than Expo, Naim, Linn cable and many more expensive alternatives too. At the moment I use Linn Silver and Atlas Mavros interconnets and they work fine with Exposure gear.

Up to £5000-ish Turntable discussion (not argument)

Second hand Bauer Audio DPS 3 with Bauer Audio tonearm. Very engaging and tuneful sounding deck. Very nice build quality too. And no hassle after setup is done. Just fit and forget and play your albums with great sound. Or one of the Dr.Feickert decks. Plenty of arm options here as you can fit...
