Bought new and only used for about 30 hours to power a Headline 2 into a Naim 552. Cost new now £4999. Unfortunately selling as I have recently been diagnosed with a terminal illness and wish to downgrade my system whilst still able before having to leave everything to my wife to sort out...

I like the new Martin Simpson recording. A few well reworked covers. More bango than I’ve heard Martin play for a while, and a lot of what Martin calls “doodling” between songs. A very good album to the collection. I note that it’s also at no.1 on the Amazon singer songwriter chart as well...

My mistake! I’m not sure where “Steve” came from? I’ve just received Martin’s latest CD Home Recordings. Recorded during lockdown, tonight’s listening I think.

Steve Simpson. Such a brilliant solo guitar virtuoso and story teller. Winner of many prestigious awards. Now just released a mini album with newly formed super folk group called Magpie Arc. Worth checking out IMO.

Plenty of s/h options on eBay, but beware for £100 your not going to get a great insight into what vinyl reply can achieve. Better to spend a little more on a Rega P1 s/h IMO you won’t be disappointed.

Living in an area with flaky internet access. I still play and buy cds. More so since I bought a streamer last year. I now find that I listen to more new and varied music via the streamer and buy on cd anything that I find exciting. I no longer end up with a pile of poor cds in my collection...

I use Bluetooth or Chromecast from my phone to streamer just for casual listening sound quality is good enough.

Has anyone tried the chord 555ps burndy cables on CD 555 or ND555?
