I just bought a pair of stands locally which I thought were the stands for the Linn Saras. I measured the top plate and it is 7 1/2" x 6 1/4". it seems the top plate for the SARA stands are 9 3/4" x 8 1/2". Does anyone know if the top plate dimensions are the only difference or the stans itself...

I've been looking to buy a few metres of Vdh CA wiring to rewire some speakers, this wire is listed in their website but can't find them anywhere. Does anyone who carries them? I sent an email do Vdh and no response.

Bought a "for parts" Sonata which will be a Summer project. It has no motors, just the subchassis, plinth and platter. Right now, the platter is not level, as part of it is too low and is touching the plinth. Should I adjust the springs in the three "towers"? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I am using slo-blo fuse, rated @ 1.6A. I could try using a 2.5A but I remember the amp working fine before I put it in storage.

Yes, it blows right away. Mine uses 1.6A 250V, I replaced for the same value. I did not feel the amp casing, I don't think it was too hot. The only thing worth mentioning is that the amp was in storage for a few years.

My Obelisk 2 was playing fine until it blew the internal fuse. This fuse is located between the mains and power transformer. it blows upon turning the amp on, regardless if there are speakers connected or not. What should I check first? I have the schematics, downloaded from vinyl engine.

Pardon my ignorance, but got me an Avondale SPX power supply which has two locking DIN females on the back, a 4-pin and a 5-pin. The 5-pin is the 240° locking type and I believe should be connected to the preamp's (NAC72) last DIN to the right. What is the 4-pin used for then? I was searching...
