You’re going to have to help me here. Is it then… Wi-Fi to the wiim then a cable to the mojo then cable to the powered speakers?
If so this could work if I keep it neat.
A Sonos would seem the smartest suggestion. I do love the naim sound though.
Ease of use should be a priority I suppose though. Not like the old days when everyone piece of vinyl was washed on a moth before going into an anti static sleeve before ever being played.
I should also say that I have a mk1 chord mojo that is with other belongings at my dad’s house I can retrieve if this can be used in a small system.
I should say it needs to be smallish to get it past the missus.
In a different life I was a vinyl guy with the desire of my life being my Xerxes 20+, PU7 arm and Lyra Delos. This went into naim amps/psu , superline, Kudos super 10 speakers. I spent years building all this with naim fraim stacks and naim powerlines and all the top cabling I could. I...
I'm no longer going to be able to have a speaker setup so I'm looking at a headphone based system. The system that I will be moving from was a full Naim system with Kudos speakers. I also had a Naim headline with hicap and was very pleased with it. What I'm after is a headphone amp that I can...
The Radius is the kind of (mid-range?) level I'm thinking about. This would be the kind of 2nd price level I'm thinking about. The looks and size of the Radius certainly appeal but when the Roksan forum still was up and running I got the impression that it was a laid back sounding TT.
It is my second Xerxes (had a mk1). On my first I used 2 different arms, 3 different carts and half a dozen different cables to fine tune it. I do like the Xerxes sound. I just won't use it enough and ideally something smaller than a Xerxes both footprint and volume (if volume is correct...
I have Kudos Super 10s (not sure if they would need more power than the 40w from the atom) that I would like to use. The Michell is definitely a deck I have in mind if purely for the aesthetics. Firstly though are they not quite laid back sounding? I do know that they are supposed to offer a...
I moved from epos m12 speakers to kudos c1 then super 10 speakers with Naim amplification. They still had the sound I wanted while delivering more of what was available upstream.
Hi Mike
I wouldn't necessarily be buying new. The set up I eventually get will get pretty limited use for various reasons but I would still like to be able to listen to my records when the fancy takes me and do like a certain presentation. Due to financial and domestic considerations I would...
I was thinking about a technics as what I have heard about the sound seems to be qualities that I am looking for. An upfront, fast and exciting sound is what I'm looking for. Also being of solid construction would be handy as living arrangements could change (hence the smaller system).
