Hello Mr gustavm,

It's a very benign room, for the reasons you mention. It's also very long - it's part of our Suffolk Longhouse -

Lovely Spot Tony, always thought your pics make it look a very nice place

I recall your system in a previous incarnation was probably the most number of boxes I've ever seen in one place, and most impressive too, how does this current setup up compare?

All the best

Not bad for 30 years old!

The Axis plinth looks much different from this early one I’m working on.

That’s very nice. Had one just the same for years (with a K18). The plinth refinish looks great.

Current system - Accuphase pre & A48 amp, Chord DAVE/ upscaler, Melco server, LP12, Naim DBL speakers on my DIY “Mana” copy soundbases, which work very well.

When did you move away from the Naim electronics Tony? Was surprised to see your set up. I'm not a big follower of these System Pics threads but remember your big Naim system of yore. Are the DBLs going next? I can't believe you aren't tempted to experiment in the new system.

Hello Mr Colonel_Mad,

It's a long story, but health issues made simplifying my system a good move. Plus, my wife had been wanting to reorganise our room, not feasible with a wall-full of black boxes! Despite a few contenders I've yet to hear any speaker I prefer over my trusty DBLs, so they're staying put for the time being.
