the U.K. issue has more bass than the Japanese copy. (although the U.S. issue isn’t bad, the recent remaster was the weakest…) this wins, although the Japanese pressing is supremely quiet.

That’s on spotty so a little listen later…

I first heard this at 12 Caledonian Rd, Brighton sandwiched between Hot Rats and the Third Ear Band absolutely off my head on the finest Red Leb. Amazingly I remember that afternoon vividly; even vomiting painlessly and in technicolour. A afternoon well spent.

I think I prefer this to the c.d. remaster, dunno, they both sound crisp, wide and full.

Well, that’s another great find of someone I’ve never heard of. Brilliant live performance energy and great piano tone like some Joanna in a music hall. The only cheapish cd on eBay is on its way. Thanks PFC.
