  1. Things you need to know about the new ‘Conversations’ PM system:

    a) DO NOT REPLY TO THE NOTIFICATION EMAIL! I get them, not the intended recipient. I get a lot of them and I do not want them! It is just a notification, log into the site and reply from there.

    b) To delete old conversations use the ‘Leave conversation’ option. This is just delete by another name.

Song for my father - Horace silver, well, I was earlier, bit late for that sort of upbeat latin jazz at this hour.

If you love Elbow (as I do) as beautiful a record as you're likely to hear.

Recorded in a Brighton theatre. Melancholic magnificence.

It may help if you're a fey Lancastrian with romantic tendencies.

Which (obviously) led me on to this.

The destruction of my school (s) and everything I knew as a child has affected me far more than I expected it to.

Just arrived from a nice Dutch man called Eric.

Sounds better than my old mixtape from 1989.

I need more of this series - Maybe # 20 next?

This send me back for a further listen. I had this down as one of my least interesting TPs but, on revisiting, it is really enjoyable and has fabulous sound: the sax and trumpet have incredible presence.

Looks like you are skating the Broadmarsh Humps in your profile. Used be there all the time myself in the late 80s and early 90s.
