Bought this on vinyl in 1987 and have hardly listened to it. My wife was listening to Devil in Disguise on the car radio and asked if I had any Elvis. Dug this out, put it on and I must say it has been a revelation played through a decent system. I now understand what all the fuss was about - what a voice and some amazingly good production as well!

Canned Heat - Vintage. Early sessions from before their first LP produced by Johnny Otis. They can be pretty tedious, but this is tremendous, pithy garagey blues like early Beefheart.

The 1996 album Electro Glide in Blue, I picked up at Headway charity shop for 25p today.
I quite like it.
