The Pink Panther. Any soundtracks by Henry Mancini are generally rather good. Most movies with Peter Sellers are generally awful (excepting Dr. Strangelove, Lolita and Being There) - sorry I've never gotten his shtick.

Looking through my collection I realised I have the Deep throat soundtrack, that has some good groove on it. Having never seen the film though I can't comment on which is better.

The Courier – An Irish film from 1988 that I admit I never saw, but it would have to be pretty amazing to be better than the soundtrack, which introduced me to artists I'd probably never have heard otherwise. Side 2 is all incidental music by one Declan MacManus.

I was wondering about Betty Blue...

Who wouldn’t, certainly occupied my thoughts.

Thief: A really good Michael Mann movie, Caan on excellent form, Tuesday Weld, Robert Prosky and Willie Nelson all adding to the experience. Cinematography that’s top notch too.
