Words you love.

I once had a friend (lady) who detested the words fart and lavvy. She was from Dundee so really shouldn't have been that particular.
Needless to say I found every opportunity to work them into the conversation 😁 .
 
What about words you don’t like hearing or using.
Two of my (un)favourites are ’gig’ (unless referring to a means of transport) and ‘meat’. Yuk!
What about putting those on the thread that is running on that very topic?
 
"Encapsulates" is another word that suddenly appeared about 15-20 years ago. Not a pretty word, makes me think of barbiturates and antibiotics.
it must 've gone into hiding since the nineteenth century then. Your medicinal associations do come in capsules, so I can understand, but keep taking the tablets anyway. :D

If only there was a word to describe how exactly that post summarises and presents my thought on that, too.
