If you link to paid for content, anybody following the link will meet a paywall unless they, too, already subscribe to the same content provider.

Thanks for that; I imagine that a paywall is like a cookie blockage. My wife (who did the link) and I were discussing this, and I mentioned that many fishies link to newspaper articles and I've not had a problem reading them. I'm a bit surprised as well that Peter (Rosewind) above could access it as I'd be surprised if he subscribed from Denmark (maybe????)

Often the pay sites will give each user a limited number of free articles before they're hit with the pay wall.
