Here's one of mine from almost 20 years ago that I posted recently. I'm trying to remember the details P25/Dino, CDX2/XPS2, Avondale Grad1/260z and Wilson Benesch Arcs. There something else there - a Denon tuner perhaps. Very small room maybe 5m square with a bay window and 2 doors plus the front door straight in. I could tune the response of the room by opening/closing doors!

My system pic now would show mostly 20 year old gear (or fairly close to, at least with the analogue bits). 20 years ago my gear was mostly 10 years old, so perhaps I've regressed.

My systems generally fall into the classic category. Mostly purchased from Russ Andrews Edinburgh shop.

Most of my equipment would appear in photos from 30 years ago, much of it dates from 1977 and consists as a collection of bolt down cases Naim components. The newest analogue components are a Naim NAC62 and Linn Sara 9s.

A Linn Karik would appear in photos from 20 years ago.

The only truly modern items are Cambridge 851N streamer and Raspberry pi streamer.

Here’s mine from about 1987 or so. Xerxes, RB300, 62/140 (before the HiCap appeared), Gale 301s (prior to Kan IIs) and a Marantz CP230 cassette deck and QED tuner.

I’m using far older kit than all that these days, I’ve still got my black ‘80s minimalist Ikea Jarpen chairs though!

Crumbs! 20 years ago isn't that far back! I have no pictures but I've been trying to think what I would have had on the rack. It would have been an Audiolab 8000s with an 8000P power amp., a Cyrus CD player and a Rega P3 turntable would have been the sources. I still have the 8000P and the turntable in the loft.

No photos to hand but it would have been pair of Technics 1210s into a bright orange Vestax mixer then into some kind of entry level hi-fi boxes that I've long forgotten...

I can’t remember, but I may well have driven a bracket into the wall top left. I don’t remember it being wobbly. As can just about be seen from the picture two of the shelves ended up to the right under the deck supported on a couple of breeze blocks, which was such an ‘80s thing to do.

Probably 2006/7. NAC 102/NAP 180/CD3.5/Naim Intro II/LP12/Rega Arm (RB300)/Linn Cartridge (KLYDE?). I still have the LP12, Rack and Zerostat (I think all three I bought/was given used from Graham H of this parish).

It's a Sound Factory triangular — just to remind myself if I need to get extra bits in the future!

My setup from 2008. I've still got a CD3.5 and Flatcap. Everything else is long gone. That bling Thorens turntable was absolutely awful.
