Great book shop on the Steep, quite a good whisky shop as well. Did used to have two or three hifi shops and one sold Creek gear I seem to remember.

I lived at the top of the Steep for a year when I went to Teaching College. Loved the area but definitely a city of two halves.

I think it was bi political split down the middle.

It's a marmite thing - you either love it or hate it ;-) Personally I can't get enough. Freezes well too !
