photo theme 50: "on forever's very now we stand" 25.11 - 8.12.09

Coda II

getting there slowly
It seems that it falls to me to suggest theme number 50, so whilst acknowledging the risk of it being:

- annoyingly art college
- rather contrived
- the lowest turn out ever

the words for the next two weeks are:

"on forever's very now we stand"

Anyway, I'm thinking more spirit of the times, and less 1940s American poetry. Unfortunately the spirit of the times here in "that London" is more X Factor than Wordsworth or Keats. It might be different of course in that Birmingham ;-)

what freedom's not some under's mere above
but breathing yes which fear will never no?
measureless our pure living complete love
whose doom is beauty and its fate to grow

shall hate confound the wise? doubt blind the brave?
does mask wear face? have singings gone to say?
here youngest selves yet younger selves conceive
here's music's music and the day of day

are worlds collapsing?any was a glove
but i'm and you are actual either hand
is when for sale?forever is to give
and on forever's very now we stand

nor a first rose explodes but shall increase
whole truthful infinite immediate us

For me you have two ways of thinking of it;

1 = zeitgeist as already profered
2 = anything that is in a state of constant change but caught at any particular stage and recorded. It was not the same before and won't be the same again.

Actually quite appropriate for photography. Anything from a sky image to an image of rebellion/uprising.

IMHO

Patrick,

Just take a picture of someone staring at their feet/blankly/whatever and it's bound to count.

I hate poetry, I really do, I rarely get it.
BUT!

Thats just brought tears to my eyes.
A wreck I am,
Distraught and.........

I'll have to out with lens and force the sky to bleed!

F**K
