Naim Nac 12

I did find a page on the Naim forum late last night that confirmed they are compatible and swapped them over.

P.R. also mentioned that by the time the review was published Naim had already made the second version of the pre-amp, which means there were only a few pre-amps of version 1 in existence. I wonder if any of these have survived.

Maybe I can answer the question regarding Naim Audio NAC 12 Version 1. This darling is (still) mine.

That would certainly confirm the loads of wires comment above. It also still uses discreet transistors - no op-amps.

Interesting. That last shot indicates why they affixed 2 x Naim Audio stickers to the back panel, one below the other.

I have a very early NAXO (s/n 007) in the same case as the NAC12 which has a rubber blanking grommet on the front panel!
