In my adventures trying to find an amplifier I found a shop that I hadn’t heard of that is close by (< less than an hour away!)

Lee at Zouch Audio has been most helpful. Their policy re: demoing equipment is great.
I was able to take a demo unit home and test it with my equipment.

Unfortunately the amplifier didn’t suit my ears so I returned the unit. I will be looking at Zouch Audio and their used HiFi outlet (the same place) 2ndHandHiFi for my next purchase and using their demo facility again.

Wonderful service and a good selection of equipment.

Now there’s a surprise, I didn’t know they were connected. I thought that 2handhifi were up in the frozen north…a good ways “up country” from Ashby-de-la-Zouch.

I'm not aware they're related. The owner of 2nd hand hifi showed me around his new gear showroom when I went to buy something, it's in the same building in Stockton.

Edit: looks like they're branching out!
