Picking up one of these tomorrow, purportedly in decent shape. Mario Bellini's Yamaha tc-800 is literally a museum piece. I don't really care about cassette players per se but I really like vintage industrial design. It'll get very occasional use, but it will sit next to a Musical Fidelity a-1 on a shelf in my den, looking cool.
Any other vintage items that just look right to you, such that their looks may actually trump (somewhat) their empirical sound quality? These two do it for me.

The list is endless when it comes to classic looks
Quad 2
Audio innovations 500
Marantz 4230
Marantz 5020
Teac Z 5000
Pioneer PL 570X TT
Technics SL 1200G TT
Revox A77

I could go on and on :D
