Anyone got any ideas where I might be able to get an 8" bass/mid driver for a Leak 3020 speaker from the 1980's? Seems the coil's blown.
I've swapped the drivers in L&R and it's definitely the driver not the crossover or internal wiring. And the connection to the cone seems secure too. So by elimination, it's probably the coil winding.
If not a source of replacement, then is there anyone out there who will repair the drive unit?
Seems such a shame to send them to the tip when they are a bit of a classic and the one that is working sounds good.
