Which store(s) are they reopening? There was one in the centre, which was a poor location as a lot of their stuff is bulky and there was no parking outside, and another in Armley which was a great location - a little shopping centre with half a dozen shops on a thoroughfare with parking right outside.
Edit - the Headingley one was always busy too, plenty of student trade.

i am sure Woolworths was still there in 1984 when i arrived in that part of Leeds. i think there was a branch of Jack Fulton frozen foods near there. And a camera place where i used to take film to be developed and printed.

Wilkinson's. Not too many and mostly in the Midlands/north. Think they were still Wilkinson's in the early/mid nineties.

Somerfield and Safeway were taken over/bought out by Morrisons I believe.
