Mick, I can feel a flounce coming on. Stay with it, ride the tidal wave of sewage coming toward you. It'll be ok.
Mick don't surf!

Keep calm, I'd miss you if you buggered off again.
In evidence, I point to the PFM poliburo's responses to a light-herated post on the reduction in crime figures.

Yes to be honest, we are probably all three. You have to be selfish and greedy if you want to carve out a career that pays well for nearly 50 years and rakes in a good pension.
I agree being smug is a bit nauseous, but when you have done reasonably well and your opponents are living a shit existence, it is hard not to be smug.
I shall try to be less smug but I like being greedy and selfish, always have and always will.

Where was the joke in your crime figure post?

A lot of people on the right want goodies but don't want to flaunt them. I have just bought a nice rolex after very good advice from this forum, but it is the most discreet watch you can imagine.
Not one single person in my family (other than Mrs Mick) even knows I have it and yet I wear it all the time. None of my friends know about it either. I have it and that is good enough for me.
Maybe we should start another thread that asks why the right always end up being at least one of the following:
smug
selfish
greedy
Because whatever answer the right give, all the left do say is you are smug, selfish, greedy.....

The same applies to the RCM I have just bought, I won't mention it to anyone in my social circle.
So the flaunting sneer is not correct.

You misunderstand.

PS I am still driving a 12 year old Honda Civic - how's that for flaunt value
The idea that mention of owning a record cleaning machine might be construed as flaunting one's wealth made me laugh so much I spilled my whisky.
