White Chocolate Creme Eggs promotion

Not only are we hit with the mass of Easter nonsense (Hot Cross Buns on 2nd Jan, blah blah), but the strange joy of this year's Creme Egg promo, which involves finding a white chocolate version to win some cash.

It's already taken a sour turn with the lack of tamper evidence (compared to most other foods) causing greed and curiosity to kick in, whereby people are scratching off the foil or opening the foil partially to reveal the colour of the chocolate shell:

Seems like a peculiar oversight of the promotion structure given the immediate visibility of a winning egg.

Haha, for £2k i think folks will start making forgeries :D

Stunning. How on earth did Cadbury fail to spot the gaping flaw in this promotion?

Some heads will no doubt roll. Wonder if they’ll go in a circle, like the eggs do?

People have now worked out that the ingredients on the outside say white chocolate....

The thing about that (which will probably be the next snippet in the news) is that because the foil wrapping is folded over on itself, then it's not easy to read the total ingredient line. As there have only been 370 of these white choc eggs made they would probably have been wrapped by hand which means they could easily overlap foil to conceal the word WHITE.
