Yup, that’s the fella! Couldn’t see it on the Cadenheads website to link to, so maybe it’s just walk-ins. Had a wee taster in the shop and it’s very much my kind of whisky.

I joined the Cadenhead's Club last month and entered the ballot...which only really worked because my partner is in that London on the same weekend and could do a shop pick-up.

This smacks to me of a very young whisky put into sherry casks to hide its blemishes. Still, if you desperately need a young sherried Speysider, thirty notes ain’t bad.

Just ordered this, mindful of the ‘if it’s too good to be true’ caveat. But a 12 yo at 43% for £28 has got to be a bit of a steal.

delicious,I think red wine casked are my favourite ATM

Haven't had that one, but I really like the Arran Amarone cask finish. Some subtle Turkish delight notes that I really like.

6 x 2cl for £50 (£10 shipping) doesn't seem particularly good value. Although it includes a 25yo.

Iirc the last MCR tasting was £26.
The one before at the Whiskey Jar was £11 !

I have neither so...it's hypothetical and moot and covered with FOMO sauce.

The local barley is exceptional, I really liked it. I value the drams at £25 for the 25 yo, £11 to £13 for the SB LB and SB CS, so the other three are 'extras', though 20cl measures are noted, I bought one anyway.
