Which to sell - Quad II Original or Classic...

I simply am struggling to decide ! I'd like to try a Music First pre and letting one of these pairs go would help the purchase.

The original are Classique serviced and the Classics are the older olive colour.
Feel free to chip in with a view, please.

I'm currently swinging to keeping the Classics for modern connectivity but am also bonded to the originals of course. What a problem :)
 
As a quad II owner and numerous vintage valve amps ,im in the keep the original camp.

If i wanted any improvements or connectivity the ss 909 or qmps give me that in a more modern way.

Doing it this way is expensive as u essentially have a classic system running passives pres.

And a solid state system for everyday on and off...

Saying that i have a similar situation have a fully restored sta25 original and a newer sta v5 both in use in different rooms....
