What speakers?

Hello there

I'm looking for a speaker upgrade, my system is a pretty basic Naim Nait3 with a Linn Basik Akito turntable. I have a pair of old Linn index which I never liked. I'm trying to find a pair of Royd Minstels or Royd book shelf speakers which I think will go super well.

Any recommendations for modern alternatives?

When I tried a Nait 3 into my Audience 52SE, I felt it didn't really have the power to keep the bass under tight control.

Royds are superb, I love them, have 5 pairs and no they are not for sale

Look for Rega RS1 or Ela as modern alternatives, maybe Epos ES11

I used a pair of Castle Richmond 3i with a nait 3, worked well, still have mine soon to be with a naim 5i set up

Thanks for all the recommendations,

Ive found a pair of Mistrel SE's which could be pretty nice for now.

My speakers where always the weakest link, I'm pretty excited about the Royds and
I guess you never know until you have to live with them.
