Most important thing in a loudspeaker is that it should be full range without having to use a sub-woofer and this best achieved in a slim TLS design. I suggest you look at the Acoustic Insight Focalstage HD design with the new Jordan Watts full range EIKONA drivers.


Thanks, I'm getting good results with the EAD 100HD at the moment so I don't plan on changing the driver just yet.

Thank you also, again I'd argue that this should be an "automatic" feature of any good design,

Flat on-axis response *and* well-behaved off-axis response curve families, i.e. monotonically-rising directivity index with frequency.

Further clear documentation about the design assumptions made on boundary reinforcement.
