Roxy Music, Avalon. Very much a guilty pleasure, this. I love all of Roxy's albums up to 1976, about a third of Manifesto, and none of Flesh + Blood. I hated Avalon when it came out, and just plain refused to listen to it again until about 10 years ago. Now I love it, even though I probably shouldn't.

This was one of half a dozen tapes that lived in the family car when I was a kid - it's burnt into my synapses!

Blue Note – 0743884. LP, Remastered, 2020. That was a long time coming - it's badly dished but sounds great. Optimal still can't get all the ducks lined up consistently...
