Back with the Attractions and Nick Lowe, Blood & Chocolate from 1986. This one was first released on IMP, rather than F BEAT (which closed in 86), XFIEND 80 Mine's scratched A5/B3.
New record label and without the Attractions again, Spike from 1989, Warner Bros 925848-1, Mine's marked A X /B. Big budget and recorded in multiple locations with a whole host of contributors. Produced by EC, Kevin Killen and T Bone Burnett, mixed by Bob Ludwig
Updated my Mac mini 2018 yesterday. Just 3 Safari updates. Took ages. I didn't do Big Sur. Anyway. I boots up this morning to be greeted by a strange "boink" chord during startup. Never heard it before. So I rebooted and it did it again. Being new to the world of Mac I went on You Tube and found that the startup chord was in fact a POST OK check that always used to be on a Mac but was removed in 2016. Phew. I thought my Mac was broke there for a minute.
...and the last mainstream release on vinyl before the revival (you could get the Alan Bleasdale, GBH Soundtrack and, possibly The Juliet Letters but most shops weren't selling vinyl by then) - Mighty Like a Rose from 1991, with Mitchell Froom replacing T Bone Burnett. 7599-26575-1. Mine's an early one stamped just A/B
Right I'm officially Costello'd out, not sure I'll be doing this again - ever Last one, everything else on CD, When I Was Cruel, a lovely 2xLP release on Island from 2002. This is with the Imposters, who are really the Attractions without Bruce Thomas on Bass. 586-775 A1, B1, C1, D1. Pretty rare these days I think.
