Gary Numan - My Name Is Ruin (Meat Beat Manifesto remixes).

As an aside; and I'm surprised to be saying this in 2017, his new album is excellent.

and the cracking remix

Must check out the album when it comes out.

Any fans of his here? If so, what of his would you recommend?

Cluster - Zuckerzeit. Latecomer to the Cluster party.

This LP grows. Understated, charming and at times very funny. As addictive as the sugar of the title.

I hear an influence not only on New Order but also Kevin Blechdom

Today

Best of Red Hot Chili Peppers.

Mahler 2nd Symphony.

Velvet Underground live.

A strange noisy day...

And Stereolab. ;)

It's the Cluster album that gets fewest plays; fopr whatever reason it doesn't engage like the pure electronic explorations of '71 or 'II' or the later slightly pastoral style of 'Sowiesoso' that becomes more epic for 'Grosses Wasser' onwards.

You need to buy some Roedelius. Seeing what else you listen to, 'Durch Die Wuste' might be the best place to start:

I listened to the New World Symphony today by Dvorak.

I've never heard it before and was quite enjoying it, then it turned into the music from the bloody Hovis advert :(

Walter / Wendy Carlos - Switched on Bach

A recent addition to the collection - CBS Masterworks made in Japan CD. Sounds very good.
