I wanted to listen to some brilliant drumming.
So pulled this outstanding 2012 Chad Wackerman double vinyl CD box set from the rack.

Physical Graffiti from 1986 Jap cd. This is playing as an antidote for the horrid sounding remaster which i just finished listening to. Remasters are evil.
 
Thinking Plague. In This Life. Ignored them for years. Thought they might be interesting to investigate. Some nice work on their Early Plague Years CD. Complex arrangements, tight playing, nice textures and interesting songs - somewhere around Muffins, Art Bears and Cow, perhaps.
