My amplification is currently an Audiolab 8200ap processor and Meridian G55 power amp, which has a 12v dc voltage input on the back to trigger it to switch on. The Audiolab also has a trigger output, but it is only designed to be used with their amps.....
Basically, I want to be able to switch on my 8200ap via IR which would then trigger my G55 to switch on. (o/t: John Westlake, if you are reading, do you know if the discrete on/off IR codes are the same as for any other product? I would love codes for my RTi remote control....)
Alternatively some little product with an IR input, which would then send a 12v dc trigger to my G55, if anyone knows of one?
Confused? I really am.
Oh, it needs to be cheap as chips too
