Wand and miyajima

i m trading a lp 12 sondek with 10.5 wand tonearm and I would like to know the partnering with miyajima Takumi. Alternatives could be Ortofon Cadenza bronze or transfiguration axia.

Ort & Trans are designed with standard compliance for a MC & designed to work with all standard med/high mass arms both roughly quoted at 12cu
Miyajima are not & compliance is almost 50% lower roughly quoted at 7cu and ideally require a very heavy 9/10inch arm or better a high mass 12inch arm

Yep, not with the Miyajima.

Agreed. Add Benz and esp. Lyra to the first camp, and Koetsu to the second, though even these are more compatible than the Miyajimas.

The Timestep arm thread here may make interesting reading, as its mass is def. in Miyajima territory, and is affordably priced.

I ve excluded miyajima but koetsu in my opinion are not on the same league than axia
